Protecting items from editors

We need an option to protect managementcenter/items from the editors so they do not mess it up...

Hi,

The Items folder in Management Center is not accessible for basic users - with only backend login (not admin/administrator - but default user).

You can hide Management center and folders in the File Archive by checking some checkboxes in Management center - System - Solution settings - Customer access.

Hi Merethe

Yes I know. What we need is the option to hide it for admin which is the master editiro and default and only editor on many (older) solutions.

Just like we can hide Management/design, Templates folder etc. for the admin user.

Messing up or deleting items in management center is very serious and not reversible so we really need it.
