Global Items?

Hello all,

I came across another item scenario. I need some general information on multiple items throughout the website. However, this information has to be editable. Address, Email, website etc. Given the design its not possible or nice, to do this directly in the editor and do a "normal" global paragraph.

Any ideas?

As it is, I have x-amount of items with the same list template, in this list template I was thinking of calling the global item as..  @GetGlobalValue("....") 

Any thoughts of this?.

I'm unsure whether or not this is actually possible without doing custom code, since all template files are parsed seperately. Looking for a guru to answer this :D

Does it make sense to put this general information in a website property item? Then it will be available anywhere you need it.

Just blending in here -How would you access a website property from a dwcontent paragraph? I had this issue just the other day.

Item website properties are available in paragraph templates but they are not visible in DwtemplateTags:

http://templates.dynamicweb-cms.com/TemplateTags/Dynamicweb-template-tags/Paragraph-tags/Item-Area-FieldSystemName.aspx
