Information in the Item paragraph is not saved.

Hello guys, I have a problem here...

I have yet basic paragraph item setup, and paragraph template.

For some reason when I am trying to save something in new paragraph (created via paragraph item) the data is not being saved. No error message or nothing, just it stays empty.

 

I wanted to ask what can cause this problem?

 

It should be very simple. As there is no custom functionality associated with it.

Is the table in the database? Does your SQL user have DDL rights?

Hi Nicolai,

User has full rights, Tables are in the database.

The reason that bugs me is that (as far as I remember) after items are created, there are some XML like item files saved on the solution automatically. Solution has 2 instances that share same DB. I feel there might be some kind of conflict if 2 item files are different.

There are 3 ways of making items, (code first, db first, and xml first) I think, can you remember the priority of those?

Hi Dmitrij.

 

You have to keep the XML files in sync at /Files/System/Items

 

There are 4 ways of making items - also using the UI.

 

XML has first priority.

Hi Nicolai,

There was a miss-match in XML files, apparently that caused the problem.

Because after I got this one solved, everything went to it's place.
