how to make template to seach in users

Hi,

Customer wants to be able to create a user list of results based on a search input.
Documentation mentions a search template (here:http://manual.dynamicweb-cms.com/Default.aspx?ID=6652  ) 
but at the customer site, this option is not available with the module..

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

You can insert the UserManagement:Search.Form tag into the list template called List_users.html (\Templates\UserManagement\List) to get a search field. This allows you to search for the users.

Notice that the search form tag is only working if you use "List_users", but not if you use the List_group templates. If you insert the tag in the group template then it doesn't find any users. This is fixed in the major 8.0 release (bug 5678).

Thank you,

Unfortunately, I still can't get it to work. It looks like I have less options to configure, than it shows in the online manual.
My options in the module end with 'Edit user', while the manual screendump continues with 'Search', 'vCard' and 'Error Messages'.

Any help is appreciated.
