How to save selected variants on BOMProducts?

I have as an example a suit, which consists of a shirt, pants and a jacket. On all three items you must select a size (from XS to XL).

I've tried creating a hidden field for every item (VariantID1, VariantID2, VariantID3) and writing the value to that before adding the product to the cart, but no luck.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Selecting a variant in a BOM list
I have searched the forum, and found that you have a BOM configuration, if you add a group
(Tried this quick, but haveen't had any luck with this yet)

Addin a product with a variant, should do the same ?!?
All the variant data is avaible in the BOMproduct,
but how do i get the right variant in the cart ?

 

The reason is to have discount on a set (shirt / pants)

Alternativ: in Order discounts
if i make a order discount on the 2 products, and do quantity of 2
then i can choose between "Any product" or "Same product"
 "Same product" givas me discount if i buy 2 shirts or 2 pants
 "Any product" gives me discount if i buy 2 of any combination

What i need is discount if i buy "One of each" or "Of different products"


What are my options to sovle this ?
