Hi,

The new instant search is retrieving results pretty fast.

Is there a way to get the same request times when having a "normal" search, where you enter a text string and hit the search button, and then a productlist is shown?

No - not yet. The speed is due to a lightning fast index. We are considering using the same technology for the other search features in Dynamicweb.

I already have a customer asking me why the instant search can retrieve the products at a high speed, while standard search is strugglin with high request times.

Looking forward ;-)
