News V2 xml - missing Expire date?

I want my XSLT to only select news that are not expired. But that information is not present in the XML.

I can't let Dynamicweb choose only the active, because the client wants to be able to mark some as important even if they are expired.

I've added a backlog item for this one. Untill then you can use Newsv2 extensibility - have a look under documentation.
