Submit News V2 RSS to e.g. Ping-O-Magic

Hi,
With success we've been using Ping-O-Matic (http://pingomatic.com/) to ping search-engines with new topics and threads on different website.

We've done a few tests with Dynamicweb with no luck :(

We've setup a normal News V2 module, enabled RSS and pasted the rss xml-path in the relevant meta-tag.

Validation of the feed looks alright - but it dosent seems like e.g. Google Blog Search wants to index the feed...

Any one with recommendations, tips, tricks or even a solution on this issue?

For the record Ping-O-Matic works brilliant on other websites with news, forums and of course blogs... expect 3-4 min ... and your content will be indexed ;)

Hey Morten,

I think you have a good point here. I would suggest that we test if we can make a news-page in relatively simple html (not too heavy to download - low on graphics etc.) and see if Ping o Magic or similar ping-service works as fast as if it was a Wordpress-site or similar.

I would however, not expect Google or other search engines to speed-index pages from a "normal" DW-setup as Google is pretty good at identifying pages that are "blog-like" and therefore should be indexed with high speed.
