I'm trying to get the same news items displayed it 2 different ways, depending on which areaID a user comes from.

I've tried adding &template to the url, but can't quite seem to get it working, any pointers would be nice.

You need two different pages with two different templates for this, and remove the template settings on the news item itself.

How can I remove the template settings on the news item itself?

From the Modules tab -> newsV2 I can only select between the active templates, I can't select "nothing".

Hi Kim

I don't think it possible to override the template selected on the news item.

What you could do is to create a generic/semantic markup in your template, and then style the output differently regarding where you make the output.

This way the enduser don't even have to think about multiple templates.
