I was trying to use the following Template Tag,

However, it does not seem to exist or work?

You can choose an image when adding news, but can you also have a small version of this image applied in the news list?

Its in the list, however I found out that you can add an image to the list.

But can you automatically skale this image?

Yes and no ;)

You cannot setup the autoscale in the administration.

But in your template you can use the ImageHandler together with @News:SmallImageClean.
