News V2 target control

In the page template I have a DIV showing a paragraph via Global:Paragraph.Content - and this paragraph contains a News V2 newslist.

I need to set up this newlist to display the news item not on top of itself but in the DwContent area

That works okay, BUT the item is ALSO displayed in the paragraph containing the list.

Is there a method to direct the item data to DwContent only in such a way that the paragraph with the newslist remains intact?

I have tried to play with all combinations of the available settings, but found no combination that doesn't target the paragraph containing the News module.

Hope someone can write the magic words :o)

Hi Claus

 

I'm affraid it is not possible.

 

In News 1 you can make a page with a pagetemplate where the global paragraph is not included and use the NewsList template tag in the news item template to show the list of the rest of the news - that would be my best suggestion.

News v2 has the option to select which Paragraph contains the news module to display the news item.

On the module tab use 'Display as' field and select a paragraph of page(via the second icon) which contains a news module.

Thanks Remi - that is precisely what I needed, and the tools were all there! This makes the New2 a very slick module with superior functionality. Great help!
