The only template I can find there is Printthis.html, and that's only the content of <!--@DwPrinterfriendly--> (?)

when I press the 'print' button I get the same page, I need this to have a different layout.

I suspect it has something to do with the Stylesheet/print/page setup

I checked the setup of the site. The printer friendly set up uses the same style sheet as the page. Go to the Stylesheet module and click the "Page properties" menu. Click the "Printer friendly page" pane and click "Standard" in the list. You'll see it's stylesheet is set to "Default" where it shold be set to "Print".
