Any way I can get the news link to be a valid xhtml link? ampersand is not a legal char in an url in xhtml strict.

Dynamicweb should use & in the news module - if we missed a spot, let us know and it will be changed.


 


But links in the news module can be done like this:


Default.aspx?ID=&PID=&NewsID=

I think you missed a spot :)



also it would be nice to be able to retrieve just the text bits from the url; like the "Read more" text.

I've added a new template tag DWNewsReadMoreText that will give you the required information. It will be released with the next SR of Dynamicweb. (See when under releases)
