It would be great if we could have some standard templates (and stylesheets) based on tableless design - including the paragraph templates ;O)

It would be great if you could show us how to create suckerfish dropdowns.

like the examples http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/dropdowns/

So we can drop the old table dropdown menu

Any chance you could make an example that called the devider image from the DW Navigation Styles? Simply can't get this to work... Oh - and a defined dropdown width :)

Hi Iben

Is it regarding XSLT og CSS ?

If it's XSLT, I've used the to links below.

1. http://www.w3schools.com/xsl/default.asp

2. http://www.w3schools.com/xpath/default.asp

About CSS I have loads of books on that subject.

Check this blogpost regarding book titles.

I have searched for more information about layout in CSS (and no stinking tables) but this is more or less what I've found. I know that there are downloads for news and eCom, and that will probably help me get started. But I could use more information about how to build a site without tables for page layout.

Great Sune.

I'm in the planning of creating a videoguide on how to create a CSS-based website.

Of course I cannot say when it will be done, but it's in the making.

Hopefully it will be in a near future.

Until then, a few working templates will do. Then we can work it out ourselves from there on, learning from your examples...

Hi Sebastian - is the near future getting closer, or have I overlooked the launch of your guides?

He's on vacation right now, but I know he's been putting a lot of effort into bringing som cool guides to you. They will probably be available soon:)

Hi,

I've met an answer to xml-related questions a few times now:

"you must create master template, page template, paragraph template, optionally paragraph setup template and paragraph template that outputs XML rather than HTML and use these in the setup where you want XML."

See post here: http://developer.dynamicweb.dk/Forum-17061.aspx?action=ShowThread&ThreadID=1060

I've got an okay hang of xslt now, and i'm only doing tableless layouts.

But I can't seem to get the hang of making all these templates only using xslt...

It would be really nice for us to get the first three templates as a "start form here" package. That is the Master, Page and one Paragraph-template.

I've asked Sebastian for a crash-course in this, but that's only gonna help me... not the other partners. :-)
