Deployment tool

Hi guys,
Is the deployment tool supposed to work in DW10, or is it still under development?

I tried migrating some content between 2 DW10 sites, but I did not succeed. I am wondering if I should keep trying or find other ways.

Hi Nicolai,
I don't have specific errors apart from nothing being transferred :)
And the entire flow is a bit clunky. That's why I thought that maybe it's still under development.
Did you manage to use it for transferring data between a Swift installation and a new (empty) installation?
In my case, I had 2 instances with the same version, the same ItemTypes. same templates, and I wanted to just create a new area and copy the Swift setup.
I even created the area on the new instance and copied the hash from the source, hoping that it would make things easier.
Nothing happened. Tried Clear cache, restart, even database investigations, hoping that the data is there but not displayed.
And every time I tried, I had to go over every step again. 
I may not be doing it properly. I have used the DW9 version a couple of times with mixed results.
If you say that it's usable, I can still try it a few times.
