Workflow mail missing information about product.

Hi.

We have made a workflow in a DW solution.
If i delete a product, and run the import task i get a notification email because the workflow of a product have changed. But the email has no information about the product.

I would expect there to be a link i could extract the product id from. But it is empty.

I'm unsure how to debug futher on this. It is a pretty standard notification from DW10

Any ideas?

Hej Kasper,

I'm not sure, but could you please try following ..

When you have used "deleted Product", then rebuild your Product Index, and then contioniue with next step 

Please let me know your result

So if i delete a produkt. i should rebuild the index before running the task? I will try it. But i will most defently say it wont work. If i delete a product now. And wait for the task to run this night. The mail will be the same. And in the mean time the index will be build about 15 times. (it builds once every hour)

I'm curious. What is the correct setup for getting product info out in the email? I don't need all the product info, the ID is enough; name and url is nice to have.

I mean it must be pretty standard functionality? I have a workflow, let's say i add product images to a product. When I'm done i change the state to "Write SEO" or something. I would expect the person in charge of SEO would get an email saying. The Product "12345678" has changed state to "Write SEO".

Else how is the person receiving the email supposed to know what product it is?

Hi Kasper,

With the "Workflow notification email", you can make a setup without Template, as I show on below example.

If you want a more specific email, with specific wanted information, a custom Template can be made.

Templates must be placed in folder "Assets/Templates/PIM/Workflow notofications", then they will be available in dropdown-list.

Hi Søren.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. 

We are already using the standard template, i only made a copy of it to try to debug what information was available.Is there anything else i need to setup, maybe in another place?

This is the current setup.
