Products not shown in frontend (DW9->DW10)

After the migration to DW10 hosting solution, none of the sites defined allows us to browse products, this works fine in the old DW9 site content.

Response for all product browsing is “We did not find anything matching your search result”
Even the Demo site returns same message. And that site we have not touched from initial install, so we can reference it for inspiration.

Did you rebuild the product index?

Yes - we have tried that manually yesterday, and also automatically today

Settings\Repositories\All Indexes\Products.index

That was a difficult one to crack :-)

The query does not return results because of this facet:‚Äč

The issue here is that it is setup to use the GroupID parameter which is related to the product group the products are in. And the parameter is related here to a field which does not hold groupids. Using any other parameter than groupid would not make it fail - but this is the cause here.
