Problem with Product.DefaultGroup when having multiple shops

Hi Dynamicweb,

We see an issue with Product.DefaultGroup, when we are having multiple shops where a product is in multiple groups.

Then it just takes the first related group without taking this into account: Me.PageView.Area.Value("AreaEcomShopID").

The problem gives a wrong link (and a possible 404) then using this template tag: Ecom:Product.LinkGroup.

Hope you can fix this :-)

Best regards, Anders

It is the same issue I have posted here: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/forum/ecommerce-standard-features/ecommerce-standard-features/2-shops-in-one-website

I have not received any answer.

It is most likely related to the changes made to support PIM shop.

Looking forward for a solution.

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

I do not think that this is the same issue as we only have one shop pr website and this is not related to PIM as this problem exists in DW 8 :-)

Oh.

My bad. The problem seems similar. Maybe the source of the problem is older than the PIM.

Hi Anders

The feature regarding #46727 to it possible to use shop context to provide default group has now been resolved in Dynamicweb version 9.4.3

To upgrade please choose this version from backend or download from here:

Let me know if you need any more help regarding this
