Sorting Products: ascending by Product group Level (Top-group>sub-groups)

Hi ,

Can anyone advise me on how to configure sorting in the front end base on the backend product group level?

Eg, we have 3 products (Product A, Product B, Product C) sorted in the Top Group level (Boy).

And in sub-group 1 (Boy>top), we have Product C and Product D.

In sub-group 2 (Boy>buttoms), we have Product E and Product F.

We want to be sorted the products in the frontend Top Group and then, followed by sorting the remaining products from sub-level groups.

So, the frontend sorting to be -> Product A, Product B, Product C,  Product .....

Can it be possible to be sorted by the backend sort (Sorting to be started at the Top product group Level)?

Regards,

Nay Chi

I do not think that is possible.

You can enable sort for the group context on the paragraph settings - but that will not help here I guess.

So you need some custom magic field on the products that you calculate on the index build and use that field.
