Product Category Fields Sort Order

Hi Everyone,

We've been building a Product Category with a large number of fields. When editing the Product Category you can specify the sort order of the Fields. However when you go into a Product that uses that Product Category the Fields are not in the sort order specified. Instead they are in the order that they were created - the AutoId rather than the FieldSortOrder.

Does anyone know if there is a setting that allows for FieldSortOrder to be used for displaying these Fields when editing a Product?

Hi,

I've tested the issue on last DW972. The order is not applied in ecom product/product group edit form until IIS pool recycle, order in product edit form in PIM can be set in Visible Field form. New TFS 70482 has been created, will be fixed in upcoming release. Thanks for observing.

Hi Steve

The problem #70482 regarding Sort order in product category field not applied has been fixed in Dynamicweb version 9.7.5

To upgrade please choose this version from download 

https://doc.dynamicweb.com/downloads/releases
