No license installed. Login to set up license

Hi DW Team,

We are using the trial version of DynamimWeb 9.10.10 for our local development environment and we are facing a license issue.

As you can see in the images below:

- The first image shows the admin screen with no license installed warning and lets us log in to set up the license.

- The second image shows that we do not have permission to access the website after logging in from the admin screen.

We are stuck in this loop. We have followed the instruction mentioned in this guide here but we are not able to resolve the issue.

First image showing: no license installed warning:

Second image showing: access denied:

Hi DW Team,

To add further information, we restored our local development environment and tried to install the Trial license again.

This time we get a different warning message as shown in the images below:

- In the first image you notice that we get presented with two options and no text.

- Regardless of what option we choose and click the Register button, you will see in the second image a warning message
'A trial has already been registered for this solution'

Image 1 showing trail options not available:

Image 2 Shows a warning message 'A trial has already been registered for this solution':

Hi guys,

I have the same issue. Did you find a solution for it?

In my case, I cannot restore it.

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi,

We have had this issue on a few production sites and support told us to remove the "_.license" file which worked.

see the below answear from DW support - you could try and see if this works.

Hi Jannich,

Thank you very much.

I had to mess a bit with the GlobalSettings file to make it work. But I eventually made it work.

Thank you,
Adrian
