Product count in structured queries is inconsistent

Hi guys,

I have a solution running DW 9.9.2.

I have set up a structured query that is based on a Shared query displaying all active products.

The problem I see is the product counter displayed next to each folder. The number displayed is not consistent with the number displayed when entering the actual Group.

It seems to be double.

I have attached an image to illustrate it.

Thank you,
Adrian

Hello Adrian,

- I've seen something similar to this before, and as far I remember was the solution to make sure the query only are looking at products from the PIM warehouse.

If you have more languages it could also help to specify in the shared query that only one language should be used

Hi Michael, Anett,

Thank you both for the feedback.

The language is probably the reason behind the wrong count.

But my expectation would be to have it consistently displayed in the count next to the product group and the product list. I don't see a reason for them to be calculated differently. If the language filter is performed automatically in the product list, it should also be calculated accordingly next to the product group.

Would you agree with me?

Thank you,
Adrian

Moreover, I don't have a back-end Language option to add in the PIM query. This means that it is not supposed to be added to the Queries at all and the system should take care of the admin language context the same way it does it for the listing.

From where I sit, it looks like a bug rather than a feature.

Would you agree with me?

Thank you,
Adrian
