Hello,

We need to handle VAT in relation to European legislation, where customers with a VAT number not should pay VAT.
How do we set it up in Dynamicweb?

Best regards, Anders

Using reverse VAT feature: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/ecommerce/payment-shipping/vat-taxes#4823

So create an ExtranetLogin-subscriber and then set the property? Dynamicweb.eCommerce.Common.Context.ReverseChargeForVat = true;

Yes, and set which product groups that holds products should be handled in this way.

Could also be a checkout flow on another website and set the entire website to be in reverse vat state.

Hi Nicolai,

I have now tried the approach with setting:

Dynamicweb.Ecommerce.Common.Context.ReverseChargeForVatEnabled = true

But we still have VAT in cart and VAT is also calculated in the totals.

Any other thoughts?

Best regards, Anders

Dear Nicolai,

We still cannot get shipping to work, when we have this setup on shipping: https://www.screencast.com/t/LxYD5GrpyEvX.

Any idea of who to solve this?

Best regards, Anders

Dear Nicolai,

Yes, we have still VAT calculated on shipping and payment fees on the solution here: http://smartpagepim.dw9demo.dynamicweb-cms.com. With this line in the master.cshtml: Dynamicweb.Ecommerce.Common.Context.ReverseChargeForVatEnabled = true;

Please see this screen dump: https://www.screencast.com/t/Tf52Hb72

Best regards, Anders
