Automatic email template forms for editors

Hi, 

We have different clients who made a form with the forms for editors function in DW9. When you fill in the form and send, then the customer and the company are getting the mail with a Dynamicweb logo. We changed it in the DefaultMail.cshtml and the DefaultMailReceipt.cshtml templates, but when you have selected the emails on automatic and don't choose a template, then you still get de dynamicweb logo in you email. What template is the automatic email form function looking at?

Hi Manon,

Where the templates did you change? You should use custom templates placed to Template/Form/Mail folder of your solution. Option 'Template' of the module settings will define using of the templates. Template files related to 'Automatic' option are base, located in Admin folder and should not be changed at all. I've checked the issue on my test environment based on DW9.4.0 and see that the rendering fully corresponds to applied option-template.

Hi Oleg, 

Oké good to know then we don't change the automatic one. Now we changed the DefaultMail.csthml and the DefaultMailReceipt.cshtml templates with the logo's. We added these templates to the forms for now and that works fine. 

Then one other question: in the website solutions we can add an email logo. For what is that logo? Whe where in the understanding that it should change the logo in the mail, but it doesn't.

Hi,

If you mean Rapido slution then it is bug related to the form module mail templates, will be fixed in new version (2.0) of Rapido template set. Planned release time  - 27 February. Other mails like about signup, new user creation etc. are under the feature correctly.
