Target options for links

Hi,

I want to create a brand page, for that, I was using a paragraph container, adding the brand logo and linking them to their respective websites. However, I wanted to open these pages on new tabs, since they are external links, but there doesn't seem to be an option for that.

Could we have the option to open in a new tab window in a future version of Rapido?

Regards

Hello Mafalda,

There are only two ways how to do that:

1) Via templates.

You should insert to your template the next:

<body>

<a href=[e.g.]"http://google.com" target="_blank">Google blank <a>

Please see screenshot 1.

2) Via paragraph settings Text Editor.

Open your paragraph settings > in a "Text" field select the part of a text which should be the link > click on the "Link" icon in a ribbon of a Text Editor > on the first tab you fill in LINK INFO fields > swithing to the TARGET tab and select from a "Target" dropdown "New Window (_blank)" option

Please see screenshot 2.

Thank you.

I'll probably have to load the image directly in the rich text editor instead of loading it as the paragraph image then.

But could we maybe have that option in a future Rapido version? It would be nice to make it possible to open Links and Button in a new tab if we wish to.

Hello Mafalda,

Yes, I've created a new TFS feature # 72150 (for implementing a new paragraph settings to open external links in a new tabs) and assigned it to our Product Manager for confirmation.

Thank you very much for this idea.

Best wishes,
