Disallow editor to delete or create variants/products

Hi

we have a solution where the products are imported daily, and the products get the productnumber from the import. Therefore, it can  have catastrophic consequenses

if the editor can create or delete variants/products. Causing the import to fail etc.

is there any way of prohibiting the editor from creating or deleting variants or products?

Hi Hans,

You can turn off the Combine function in Settings, as shown below ..

And also set Permissions on Variants to ReadOnly ..

Hi Søren

The editors group products into variant groups.

we want the editor to be able to combine products in to variants groups, and we also want them to be able to set color and size (variantoptions) on each variant. We just don´t want them to be able to delete an imported product/variant or create a variant or product manually.

Hi Hans,

I need to look into that scenario you describe above, and figure out if it's possible with Permission settings ..

But I'm afraid it is not possible at the moment.
