Advice needed for PIM configuration

Hi guys,
I have a pretty particula project and I need some advice on how to configure it using the recent DW10 PIM changes.

The project is for a company with multiple product lines and companies and multiple sales outlets.
The project has 3 separate BC instances as sources of data. Each BC instance will list own products and group products. By "Group products" I mean products of the others companies in the group.

For the customer facing part, we will have at least 5 separate shops/channels connected to websites. The channels will always list a mix of products from all companies in the group, but in theory, each shop will be connected to a single BC data source.
The BC data source will not have the same structure as the sales channels.
In the DW9 world, the setup I would make for this case would be to grab each source of data into a Warehouse, then enrich the products (using various Queries) and publish them to Channels.
In DW10 the concept of Warehouse is obsolete and therefore, I would like to understand how I should configure the input data flows in order to ensure a smooth enrichment and management experience.
Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

Hi Adrian,

Quick answer..

I think you should create a Datamode (or maybe Datamodel structure) for each BC instance so you can maintain product information separately per BC.

NB! We have a customer event tomorrow, but will be back on Friday.

Hi Soren,
Not yet. I am still waiting to see what the data from BC looks like.
I am considering the separate DataModel-per-BC approach, but it seems like the customer is planning to feed all product information from a single BC instance (MasterItems).
I will have more information as I start getting data from BC.

Thank you,

Adrian
