Hi,
Working with multiple Payment Provider we can see inconsistencies in the parameters. It would be nice if those could be changed.
Here's what I could tell:
- For "Test mode", some have a checkbox, others a radio button
I believe because it may have evolved from a true/false to a 3 option model (Production, Staging, Development/Test) - On the same topic, some havw a label called "Work mode", others don't
- The transaction type have different labels
- The transaction type options have different names across them
- One might be "Authorization only" + "Authorize + Capture", while one has a checkbox saying "Capture now" or "Sale" or "Auto capture" instead.
- For ePay, not sure if InstaCapture is a feature of theirs or would be just like "Capture now".
- For Paypal Express we even have the options in a different order than all other providers with radio buttons.
I highlighted these in 4 different colors so it's easier to understand:
- Red - Transaction type label
- Yellow - Transaction type options
- Blue/Green - Work mode label
- Purple - Work mode options
