Issue with normalising characters in url (ø->oe, é->e etc.)

Many of the products in my current project have either the trademark ™ or the registered trademark ® symbol in their name.
When the URL settings "normalise Latin chars (ø->oe, é->e etc.)" is set to true the system converts my "/Default.asp?ID=X&ProductID=Y" urls into readable ones "/product/productname" but when you go to this url it cannot resolve the page. It seems to be caused by the trademark symbols.

Can that be fixed?

Hi Peter

Yes, you are right. I've created TFS#36538 to fix this and other related issues.
