Override Primary Domain in Development instance

Hi guys,

I know it is a long shot but I need to try :)

Is there any trick I can use to override the Primary Domain set on website settings, for the development instance? I want to avoid duplicating the database just because of this.

I would use IIS for a redirect but I have a couple of different websites, each with its separate domain.

I know some settings can be overwritten using a config file but I am not sure if this one can also be changed with the same approach.

Nope - no such thing... You might be able to do some fancy thing on beginrequest notification subscriber and override the value on the area object when in development mode...
