Item Creator - is it possible to link to newly created item in notification email?

Hi

When an Item is created with the item creator, is it possible to somehow link to the newly created item in the notification email?

You should have that available.

Try to use a @TemplateTags() in the email template - you should have something like *Field.PageId in the tags. That is the page that was created.

I am afraid not Nicolai. All I get is ItemCreator:Item.Id

If this was a DW9 solution, i would be able to get the page ID via Dynamicweb.Services.Pages.GetPageForItem  - but this is not available in Dynamicweb 8? Is there any alternative to this in Dynamicweb 8? I can´t find anything.

Belive me, I would love to update to a DW9, but that is not possible for this client yet.
