Issue with Item Type File field

Hi,

It looks like the File Item type field has some buggy behavior. Conside this screencast

The goal is to have an image selector without restricting to any folder of the File Manager.

You can see that I manage to make that configuration and save the file, but then when I try to edit the same Item, I get an error.

I can fix it using SQL, but then that breaks the frontend because I am no longer pointing to a valid path.

Can you confirm if I am doing anything wrong?

Hi Nuno,

I see you use old DW 9.7.6 version, I've tried to check your case using last DW9.8.4 admin and was not able to catch any issue - proof. So, pls, try to reproduce it on upgraded solution and comment again if it's still reproduced. Thanks.

Hi Oleg,

Thank you for verifying that. I thought I had testes on a 9.8 solution, but apparently I did not. I just did in an 9.8.2 and worked just fine.
