File upload no more?

Hi guys,

Has file uploading by posting a form to "/admin/public/Upload.aspx" been completely neutered?

Part of the user registration process for one of our client is that users are able to upload images / pdfs to verify certain licenses their company might have, but they haven´t received any new files into their upload folder since May this year.

What´s even weirder is that we haven´t fudged with the template controlling this or changed their DW Application version since february this year...

Hi,

no any change has been done in FM upload including with the page during current year. Nowadays it's OK with upload on last DW9.14.1, so find a cause on your side, please.

Found it!

At the beginning of the Page_Load method in Dynamicweb.Admin/Admin/Public/Upload.aspx.vb there's an Exit Sub operation based on the value of a node in GlobalSettings that has been removed:

When I manually added the /Globalsettings/System/Security/AllowUploadFromFilepublisher node back to Globalsettings the upload started working again :)

I was able to reproduce the issue with File Publisher, new task 10299 has been created to fix it.
