PIM import - Advanced settings

Hello forum,

- I'm trying to import data to all variants with a certain 'ProductNumber' from a plain Excel, but for some reason it seems only to update the first variant with the 'ProductNumber' ?

I have unchecked 'Use strict primary key matching' in advanced settings and checked the 'Update only existing products', but it still dosn't work as expected.

Is there anything I have missed?

Hi

I've checked the import with updating variant names for product has several extended variants on last DW9.10.11 and was not able to catch any issue, the settings set by default were used - proof

Hello Oleg,

- and thanks for taking time to look into this issue.  I can see that you have ProductId, VariantId and ProductLanguageId in your Excel + you are using the option 'Use strict primary key matching', so you can't compare your demo to my experience with a plain Excel import. I'll added a few more information's below + I have tested it in a bike shop.

IF the main ProductNumber is different from the variants ProductNumber, a plain Excel import will only update the first variant and not all variants!

Here is my test product setup before import:

Here is my plain Excel:

Here is my activity mapping in the import:

Here is my advanced settings, where 'Use strict primary key matching' is deselected:

And here is the result of the import, where only the first variant is updated:

Hello forum,

- I'm almost sure that this have been fixed from a certain DW version, but I haven't been able to find information. Can someone enlighten me about the version number?
