Hi guys,

I have configured a standard Rapido 3.4.2 and I have noticed there is no option to edit quantity in the checkout flow.

Am I missing a setting or is this by design?

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi Adrian

You can see all the options for checkout flows in Rapido here: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/rapido/features/ecommerce/checkout

If it is not there, it is not part of the feature.

Hi Nicolai,

The cart in the documentation looks different than the cart in Rapido 3.4.2.

Rapido 3.4.2 comes by default with the multi-step flow

I guess the template is different (Onepagecart.cshtml) than the one featured in the documentation.

I will try and select another one but maybe you should make sure the Documentation and the standard setup are consistent.

Thank you,

Adrian

Hello Adrian,

I cannot reproduce it both in One step and One page checkout in 3.4.2, please see my video: https://www.screencast.com/t/b195JrtZuY4

There are no special settings for it, it should work. Please attach the screenshot or a video of your cart.

Best regards,

Hi Olga,

Thank you for checking it out.

Your screencast shows One Page Checkout while mine is the multi-step checkout.

I have the Onepagecart.cshtml template set in the Cart step. I have attached a screenshot of what I see.

If you want to check the solution, the URL is http://gf.dotfusion.ro/

Please check that one too.

Thank you,

Adrian

Hello Adrian,

Of course I checked both one step and multi step checkouts - the issue is not reproducing on my test sites where both manual input and edit counter work. Looks like it's a problem of your particular solution. I've created a task #90130 and assigned to responsible developer for checking it out. Will come back to you soon.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Olga

Hi Olga,

Thank you.

My Particular solution is based on the downloaded version of Rapido. And I have 3 solutions in this situation.

On all, the multi-step templates have read-only quantity fields in the cart.

There is no customization of the templates.

I am waiting for the developer's conclusion.

Thank you,
Adrian

You can only edit the quantities in the multi-step cart if you un-select the "Enable Variant Matrix" option for the shop.

Unselect this option to be able to edit the quantities.

When it is enabled then it usees ReviewOrderMatrix.cshtml (no edit of quantities)

When disabled is uses ReviewOrder.cshtml (edit of quantities)

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your answer.

This was a pretty tricky one. Why would Rapido come with a default check on this option?

Anyways, thank you for your answer. It solved my problem.

Adrian
